Improv 1 for Teens

What If Theatre is excited to now offer teen improv classes!  Students will learn important concepts of improvisational theatre, including making quick, confident choices, saying yes to ideas, and actively supporting the ensemble.  Plus, they showcase their new skills in a final student performance! 

Prerequisite: None! This class is a complete introduction to improv.
Class Performance: Saturday, May 11, 6 pm. Students are not required to participate but are strongly encouraged to!

Please note: these classes are for current high school students (grades 9-12) only.
Classes are two hours long, running from 10am-noon.

Class dates:  March 30, April 6, April 20, April 27, May 4, May 11
There is no class on April 13.

Please note: After registration, you will receive a parental information form and waiver via email. This must be filled out before the start of class. 




  • Please wear comfortable clothes appropriate for light physical activity. The only thing you need to bring to class is a willingness to be brave and participate. And maybe a water bottle.

  • All classes and workshops at What If Theatre are contingent on a minimum number of student registrations (usually 6).
